It’s quite the popular premium cable show, and “Game of Thrones” has just been renewed by HBO for a third season.
Programming honcho Michael Lombardo announced the good news in a press release, much to the delight of the show’s mass of fans.
Michael stated, "Series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss raised our expectations for the second season - and then surpassed them.”
“We are thrilled by all the viewer and media support we've received for the series, and can't wait to see what Dan and David have in store for next season."
“Game of Thrones” is based on the bestselling fantasy series by George R.R. Martin and is an epic drama set in the world of Westeros.
